Machined Plastics and Plastic Parts

We have the ability to fabricate Machined Plastic components of all sizes and shapes through CNC and fully-automated, high-speed screw machining; engine, turret and automated lathing; CNC vertical and horizontal milling, drilling, boring, indexing and slicing; molding of heavy-wall tubes or complete components.

Screw Machines

Dover High Performance Plastics has the capability of forming turned products through the use of power fed, automatic Screw Machines. Our screw machines can quickly mass-produce turned parts with precision repeatability using state-of-the-art cutting methods which are similar to that of a lathe but highly automated. We utilize this equipment for high-quality, low-cost turned components.

CNC Machining

In order to provide our customers with complete Plastics Fabrication solutions for their engineering and production needs, we are pleased to offer precision CNC machining services. Our computer numerically controlled Swiss machines, automatic turning centers and lathe chuckers with sub-spindle and driven tool capabilities can duplicate precise prototypes or production runs of all types of Plastic Components.

Mining, Drilling & Cutting

We provide vertical and horizontal milling with power-feed capabilities; 4 axis CNC milling and drilling with 30" travel for large components with intricate shapes.

When the requirement calls for very small parts, ultra smooth finishes or closely held tolerances, we provide a full array of machining capabilities.

Polytetrafluoroethylene Molding

Through automatic compression molding from Teflon® polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) components, we can offer a more economical production alternative. Our compression molding process eliminates wasted material by molding parts to their finished dimensions as material cost savings can be especially important when high volume production is required. Compression molding to finished dimensions also saves labor costs by excluding unnecessary secondary machining operations. In addition, our compression molding methods allow us to achieve the optimum physical properties of components which are important in many critical applications.
