Mikron Valve
Mikron valves are designed to meet the most rigorous service applications that can withstand high temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, and high pressures up to 2,500# class.  Mikron Valve serves many industries, including but not limited to, the Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Water, Power, Hydraulic, Pulp & Paper, Food, and Oil & Gas.

Mikron Valve employs the most skilled craftsmen in the trade that specialize in working with a wide range of materials including; Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel ®, Stellite ®, Hastelloy ®, Teflon ®, and Peek®. .  Our valves meet the highest standards and are inspected throughout the manufacturing process to ensure all tolerances are within specification.

Mikron Valve & Manufacturer, Inc., (a subsidiary of PSB Industries), is a US based manufacturer of Ball Valves and the Miller line of Check Valves.  Mikron can provide the following:
  • Custom Valve design
  • Precision Valve components
  • Metal Seated Ball Valves to class VI shut off
  • Metal seat OEM Valves
  • Refurbish OEM Valves
  • Miller Centered Guided Check Valves
  • Wafer Valves
  • API Certified Valves 6D-#6D-0867
  • Exotic Materials

We utilize the latest in engineering CAD/CAM software, and CNC manufacturing equipment.  Put our knowledge and expertise to work for you.

 Miller Center Guided Check Valve

Mikron Valve's., Center Guided Check Valve reflects the results of ongoing research,
experience and study in the controls of fluids of all types.  There are no internal screws or bolts to corrode in place, or work loose to cause costly malfunction.  Mikron's Center Guided Check Valves are designed to meet the requirements of the general rules and regulations as specified by the Board of Supervising Inspectors and U.S. Coast Guard Marine Service.  Mikron's Center Guided Check Valves can withstand pressures up to 6000 pounds and at any temperature to handle all liquids, gases, oil, gasoline, acids, chemicals, air, salt water, brine, etc.

Specialty Ball Valves

Mikron Ball Valves are floating ball valves with a two piece ball and stem. These valves have been proven to work in high temperatures and pressures. And since the stem is always perpendicular to the pipe line, leakage between the stem and the packing is minimized. Mikron ball valves have a live loaded packing system in all valves as a standard option, to further ensure leak free packing and less maintenance and downtime as a result

Miller Wafer Insert Valves

Mikron's Miller Wafer Insert Valves are designed to work silently in either
vertical or horizontal position, Made of semi-steel bodies, Eityher Bronze or Stainless disc and seat ring, stainless spring.  Mikron's Miller Wafer Valves are hand lapped to insure positive shut-off and are rated for 125lb. or 250 lb. mating flanges.  Our wafer valves are available in sized 1" thru 10".

Mikron Machining Capabilities

CNC Lathe - From 1/4” diameter to 18” diameter. Lengths up to 40” long.

CNC Mill -
X-Axis=40” Y-Axis-26” Z-Axis=25” Full 4th Axis capabilities up to 16” diameter.

Manual Lathe -
Up to 24” diameter. 15” diameter over the carriage. 4” diameter through spindle and lengths up to 50” long.

StelliteTM Overlay -
Excellent wear resistance attributes for valves and components that require repetitive activation and high friction areas.

Lapping Process -
Done on 100% of our valves. It perfectly mates the components prior to testing for superior sealing and longevity especially for extreme applications.

Design Assistance -
Early design involvement enhances the protyping process and minimizes the time to market.

Spherical Grinding -
This, is not only a limited resource but, can be very expensive.  Mikron's ability to do this process in-house reduces your overall cost and lead-times while maintaining control of the products quality.

Exotic Materials -
Extensive knowledge of Hastelloy, Inconel, Incoloy, Monel, Stainless Steel, Titanium and a variety of carbon steel allows Mikron to recommend the correct material the first time for each application utilizing our expertise based upon operating parameters and harsh media requirements.
